Recommendation for All Aspects Fencing

Charlie Cornish
July 2015

When we purchased our property, it was evident that the fencing would need replacing. The existing fencing, consisting of teetering wooden posts and fallen rails due to rot and dead electric wires attached to fallen fiberglass stakes, neither of which would confine pet or livestock, needed replacing. I sought bids from three fencing contractors, but I was not keen on what was tendered in terms of either price or materials, as I was seeking a fence of quality materials that would last many years. I proceeded to draw up my own fencing plan and purchasing posts and wire, with the idea of contracting out the installation.

Fortunately, I learned of Jake Robinson and All Aspects Fencing. Upon contacting Jake, he stopped by our place to introduce himself and then took me on a tour of some his previous fence installations. I was impressed with the quality of materials and workmanship used for previous jobs – heavy gauge steel post and rails retired from the oil fields, heavy-duty gates, and solid welding. His previous installations just looked right for the high desert and animal confinement. While it took us some months to sign a fencing contract, I appreciate that Jake stayed in contact with us without applying any high-pressured sales tactics until we were ready to sign.

Initially, I contracted Jake to install a post and top rail fence with no climb wire for a dog yard around the house and for a fence line between the dog yard and shop. Elsewhere, I planned to enclose our fields using T-posts and no climb wire, with periodic steel post and rail H-braces. However, after seeing how good the rust-colored steel post and rail looked with the no climb wire, we decided to change our plan and use it everywhere in place of T-post. While this doubled the cost of our fencing project, the quality, durability and appearance of the finished installation was worth the cost. Throughout the project, I submitted updated maps to Jake with the location of fence and gates. Jake was very accommodating to requested changes and offered suggested alternatives to improve the fence layout and rein in costs.

During construction, the All Aspects crew was very cordial and polite, always deferential towards us as property owners, and minimized their impact of construction on our routines. I appreciate that the crew regularly cleaned up the work site on a daily and weekly basis, as well as gathered all the scrap metal and old fencing for disposal.

We are very pleased with our fence installed by All Aspects Fencing—it is solidly constructed from quality material, looks great and will last many years with minimal maintenance. We still have a third of our property to enclose with new fencing and look forward to a second phase of fencing work with Jake and All Aspects Fencing. I heartily recommend All Aspects Fencing to anyone with a fencing project.
